Mia began playing both beach and indoor volleyball at the age of 10 under the guidance of Coach and owner Karen Roberts. She attended Foothill High School, where she was a four-year varsity starter and earned multiple First Team All-League honors. During her junior career, Mia was selected for the Team USA Beach Volleyball program and was named to the U19 USA Beach Volleyball Team.

 

Mia continued her volleyball career at the University of California, Berkeley, where she competed in NCAA Division I beach volleyball. During her time at Cal, she was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team, earned Pac-12 Pair of the Week honors, served as team captain, and received multiple Top Flight Awards throughout her collegiate career.

 

After graduating from UC Berkeley, Mia moved to England, where she competed in both indoor and beach volleyball. She played for a semi-professional team in Wessex, helping lead the team to a near-perfect season. Today, Mia continues to play both indoor and beach volleyball in competitive adult leagues and enjoys sharing her passion for the sport with friends and the volleyball community.
