Sand Courts are located East of the Tennis Courts

Mia Merino played sand volleyball at UC Berkely and was ranked PAC 12 freshman of the year. She started her volleyball career at TVC. After graduating from CAL, Mia went on to earn her Master's in England, playing indoor volleyball. Now, Mia has come full circle and is the lead Sand Coach for TVC!

What is Sand Training?

In the world of volleyball, sand volleyball is becoming more and more prominent in high school and college. The outdoor venue also offers an incredible way to cross train for ball control, strength, tracking, and simply to get outside. The fundamentals are the same as indoor but the sand provides a great diversity for training. It's nice to get your young athlete on the sand as early as possible.
